These gentlemen know how to earn and keep loyal customers! They aren't just honest and knowledgeable, they treated me like family. Mr. Ty was more concerned with my safety than my bank account, and Mr. Rick drove me home (to Maurepas!) so I could be comfortable while I waited for my repairs ~ which, by the way, were completed the same day I brought my truck in! The owner had his hands on my truck throughout the course of the job, and personally took it out for a spin before I left the garage. He cares more about building relationships than wealth. Brought my Honda Fit in on a Thursday, and I picked it up repaired on Friday. The repair job was for a broken clutch fork. Brought in my vehicle for what I thought was a transmission issue. I had a shutter, knocking, clanking, rubbing, hard drops when switching drives sometime etc. They were able to accurately diagnose the problem (actually the driveshaft) and fix the issue at a much lower cost than I would have had to spend if a less experienced or a shady mechanic went with my thoughts on a transmission issue. After the repair, i got a coupon for a free oil change, free car wash and a coffee travel mug. Only complaint was that it took a little longer for them to work on my vehicle than I was expecting by a few day, but it was well worth the quality work they did to get me back on the road.- J E. 2/18/2018![]()
The transmission in my wife’s 2012 Honda van went completely out. I searched many shops in the area getting price quotes for a replacement/rebuilt transmission. I would like to say that I recommend for anyone needing transmission repair to give ascension transmission a call. I am very satisfied with their work.
